I have the DVD player for the back seats of my X5 only accepting Region 4 DVD's, does anyone know how to switch to Region 1 or leave it open for Multi Region DVD's?

Leave it open for multi-region or take it to your local TV repair store, they will be able to change it for you.

What do you mean leave it open? That is what I am trying to do, I took it to a TV repair and Auto Stereo Shop but they could not help.
