Hello,

I recently noticed, after letting my wife drive my new X5, that there were several small scratches on the passenger side of the wood trim next to the shifter. Is there any way to buff or polish these out?

I've used Maguires Scratch X on the exterior with great success, but never on anything other than plastic on the interior. There is a wood trim area I could test in the back seat that would not be noticeable that I will probably give a try before attempting on something visable. I just thought it worth asking here first.

Thanks in advance!

Alan

Check with the BMW dealer. If you've done it already, how did it come out?

I would try wet sanding it with a very very very very very fine grit paper and then maybe spraying it with some clear after that
