My window has now stopped going up. The motor works, I can hear it when I push the switch to "up", but nothing happens. It rolls down fine. Sometimes my window out of the blue will move down an inch or two when I open door. Which means I have to hold window with hand and pull it up. I don't know what it could be. I noticed thought the window stopped moving down and then up when door is opened and shut.

I had this exact problem... Try opening your door and pressing the button that is in the door jam.. when the door is closed it touches the switch and the window goes up that extra inch to seal. if you press the button in the door jam and kind of nurse the window up with a little man power. dont rip it up but nurse it. my problem now is the window is stuck up and IDK what to do now.

Agreed on the nursing. This happened to me while driving through the Arizona desert with a smuggled ferret. Not the most fun thing. It was on the drivers side door. My bf at the time was driving and just gently pulled it up while pressing the up button in the car. I had to get the motor replaced. It broke a year or two later (what is with those things? I hear they break a lot) but only to the point where I have to hold it down to close it all of the way. Strangely, the passenger side has always been fine. Hey, but I'm not in the middle of the desert with a window that won't close so.....
