Where is the Wheel Lock located on a 2008 328i ???

bought my car pre-owned.
got the brakes done about a month ago.
needed to do a tire patch the other day. couldnt find the wheel lock in the trunk?
is there a special spot where its kept? i need to know if the guy who did my brakes took the wheel lock.
any help would be appreciated.
