Hi guys, I have an E39 '96 and currently have 4x 235 40 18's MV1 on my car,
however due to the recent cold weather we've had in the UK there has been an outbreak of potholes in my county which has resulted in me getting a crack the lip of the wheel
(
I was thinking can I replace the rear two wheels for 255 35 18's? I know they're wider and was wondering if there is enough room between the tyre and the car for this or if I should just stick to 235 40 18's?
Alas trying to find a replacement 235 40 18's are rare as rocking horse poo, but 255 35 18's are ten a plenty. Or how much should I be looking at to get it welded fixed? Thanks for your time in reading this and I appreciate any help you can give me.
Regards,
Rob
