Ive been a fan of toyotas (mainly for its dependency and and supra  ). Im just wonderin what happen to the day when Toyota use to create competitors in racing. Such as the celica, mr2 turbo/spyder, supra, and rally inspired corolla. Its seem like they have given up on performance cars, (maybe except for the solara :confused which is not one of my favorite)
Anyone care to tell me what has happen to them?
(This does not incluse its subsidaries (scion and lexus))

Well, I just saw the new Car and Driver mag, which had the new supra in it. Well, spy photos of it. heres some links as to what it might look like. Supposedly V-10 500hp. Nice. Maybe a 3.5L V6 also. Noooooo....I want I6

you get "supposedly" from "Among the outrageous guesses are that the prototype is a mule hiding either a 500-horsepower V-10 engine or a high-performance hybrid powertrain. " how? :wtf

the supra will be back up, a dealor told me to look for it sometime this coming spring or summer.... he said that the price range will more then likely be like the old one 50 grand or so. he thinks that they are planning to stick with the v8 or the v6, whichever you prefer. im not a big v8 fan, for the fact the eat a little too much gas, but whatever works. waiting is always the killer isnt it?
