been thinking about my next Bm...... and for some reason i like the look of the 7 series......

but i think it would have to be some thing like the V8 4.0 or 4.4? and then fit 20" rims.....

what do you guys think of them? anything i should look out for.....

I am incredibly happy with our 540i. It has the 4.4 V8, alot of pep, pretty damn smooth for a V8. Sounds pretty badass. All in all, I think that the 4.4 is a wonderous powerplant, good choice on either of the two platforms (7 or 5 series). I say go for the B12, pure Alpina sweetness. :cig

Chris Bangle was head/cheif designer at bmw since like 1997 or 1998. so of all the bads things he's done he probably had alot to do with the E46's and the E39 angeleye conversion. ;)

i think we need "Say no to bangle" t-shirts that are based on the "say no to drugs" shirts :D seriously tho, that wouldnt be a bad idea

How about a 95 540i, I like the look of those. You could probably also find a 95 ///M5 over there fairly easily. I would imagine they would go for 22,000 quid, last time I checked. But I dont know your price range.
