Just trying to establish how sensitive the Traction Control is to a variance in wheel diameter (& rotational speed). I changed one of the rear wheels from being a 275/40/19R (703mm) to the original 235/60/16R (688mm). This equates to a 2.2% difference in diameter. Being an open diff this wheel would have been taking the majority of the driving force, and obviously spinning faster which I would have expected to trip the ESP, but it didn't.
Is this a reasonable test to see what the tire size tolerance is for this vehicles ESP system?
