the best shine? Meguiars Gold Class, but its really the stuff you do before hand that really makes it shine (ask l337 about his bling bling shine method)

so the best wax is the $5 stuff?

Wash, Clay Bar, Swirl Remove/Cleaner (Scratch-X), Polish, 2 Coats of Wax.......theres more things to do, but thats a good place to start

I also use Meq Gold Class..good bang for the buck..but I have recently talked to DetailingDude so I hope he can give his expert opinion(s)!! :thumbs

no . ive only seen it when i go to detailing shops and last time it was being applied to a 2001 ferrari maranello [/b][/quote]
the ferrari dealer near me uses meguair's products. i talked to the guy touching one up on the showroom floor.

dont get me wrong i use Meguirs gold class on my car. i just heard that this stuff is suppose to be near the best. weres detailing dude?

Hmm... Meguiar's isn't one for durability but really - when you go for the big time durability + shine synthetics you're out there waxing just as much as you normally would.

I prefer Blackfire - used Meguiars for a long time, went to Zymol which was better and finally to Blackfire. I'm not looking back.

Zaino looks interesting but not interested enough in the price.

golf class isnt as "hard" as some other waxes....the other day i used a professional grade synthetic, and it was MUCH harder then the gold class, covered this one sratch i have from a rock on the base of my hood....gold class never really covered it

Please don't make fun of me, this is an EXTREME noobie question, how do you wax your car? cuz ive read to wash your car, dry it, then wax, then i heard wash your car rinse, wax, then dry? which one?
