Hey everyone !!! I am hopefully to become a new-used BMW owner, currently searching for a 96-97 328i sedan for around $10,000. There have been several offerings on ebay which have peaked my curiosity, and as such I am frantically trying to read everything on BMWs available. I would like to know if in your search for your car you happened to ask a local dealer to pull up service records for the car in question. Is this something they will do for you or not?

Carfax is not that accurate, and I would like to ensure that I am getting a well cared for vehicle.

BTW - love some of your images and look forward to contributing in the future.

welcome DrGoose, glad to have you on board!! B)

your local dealer will do this for you. however, i am not sure if they will charge you or not. make sure you ask them if they will charge before having them look up the service records.

i agree with carfax. carfax is a very helpful tool, but they're not 100% accurate.
