Wondering if anyone can help me.....
I've got a 2001 E46 320d with the 136PS (M47) engine, which has a vibration/rattle noise as you accelerate through 2000rpm. It only lasts for a second or so as you accelerate through 2000rpm - whatever gear you're in.
If the car is static, it does not make the noise....
The noise sounds like a light resonance / rattle and appears to come from the front underneath.... but obviously its difficult to pinpoint as you have to be moving.
There are no obvious defects - I thought I would ask if anyone here has experienced it before I go further with it.
