Came across these 17x7.5 & 17x8.5 staggered M-Contours with the 2 front tires like new, Michelin Pilot Sport's 225/45ZR17's, I will have to pick up 2 new rear tires 245/40ZR17's......I paid $500.00 for the set!

So back to my question: Should I polish the lip or not?

p.s. I am keeping the Black Beyern Mesh wheels, they have been growing on me, so time for a little change.....

Dilemma time........the wheels are purdy as BB said, but each wheel has very slight curb rash......actually 1 mark on each wheel......so I was thinking about using this wheel repair kit from E-Tech.......which I read is not a perfect fix, so if I polish the lips I won't need the repair kit which cost $60.00 bucks......

anybody here ever use this or one like it, to repair their curb rash?

I haven't used the kit, but they lost me at the word "putty". I wouldn't mess with it, I'd be too afraid to screw something up. With all the worrying you're doing, just go ahead and polish them. Shit, come polish mine!!

You all know I had no issue making changes to my ti but as for those classic M wheels I'm a purest...

I know what you mean Teg......but like Chelsey said, the word "putty" on a wheel, does not sound like the solution for the Classic M Wheel!

I rock the alloy/polish. Love the look.

I'll e-slap you if you go black/polish. You don't drive a Honda.
I love the look also.......but should I alter the classic M Contour Wheel?

^LoL^ if you weren't 3,000 miles away, I would polish your wheels........;)

Also, I'd like some close up pictures of that. I can't see anything wrong with them from your first picture. Thanks. :)
Will do Chelsey.......:) but still so confused! :conf

How many have you seen on the road with the wheels done this way? ;) I don't know what it would cost to replace these should you hate it, but I assume someone out there would look at your Ebay add an go "Woah, I've never seen a set done like that".

Just my opinion, of course. I love driving a car that you won't see a clone of ANYWHERE.
