recently i had to get the battery replaced in my 1999 318i SE and a few days b4 i got the battery replaced the engine management light came on and now all the dials don't work, the fuel gauge,rev counter,speedometer all don't work.
if anyone could shed some light on the matter would be great.
Also sometimes when i start the engine the light comes on telling me both my back lights are not working(when i looked at the back of the car the brake lights were on constantly) also the radio is off and the horn doesn't work.
sometimes but not all the time i can open the mirror slide on the sun visor and the light comes on and it kinda trips everything and the radio comes back on as do all the other problems get fixed. but this doesn't work all the time.
any ideas? please help
