Hello. I have a 95 325i with an auto tranny. Up until recently i've had no problems with it. But within the past week or so it seems to be having trouble downshifting when i put my foot down. It will get stuck in a high gear and then not downshift until I push my foot all the way down to engage the kickdown. After it does downshift it goes into a jerky acceleration. Also while accelerating through the gears it seems to keep shifting between second and third. I assumed it was a transmission problem originally. But after driving it a bit more I'm not so sure. I don't know if I'm just losing my mind, but it doesn't seem to be doing this with the ASC off. Its almost as if the traction control is engaging for no reason when it is on. I've driven this car in the snow before with the the ASC on and thats pretty much what it feels like trying to drive on dry pavement right now. Neither the transmission or ASC warning lights are on though. And the ASC is not blinking like it would if it actually was losing traction when this occurs. Any idea what this could be?
