my bro took his 330 through a car wash last winter, i told him it was ok if it was touchless, but he forget and ran it through a normal car wash   even though its not my car, i was rather pissed....my question is, will ScratchX remove his light swirl marks on the hood/trunk? i need to buy a orbital buffer...but im hopin this stuff will work

No... doesn't work. The folks have a dark metallic blue lexus and it didn't do jack on the trunk lid.
Save your money on the scratchX and get 3m Swirl Mark remover for Darker colored cars(if he has
a dark car)

I don't recommend touchless car washes either. Even the best drive-thru touchless will not remove
all dirt and I've never seen one that you didn't have to touch-up with a towel which will just grind
whatever dirt it didn't get off the car into the car. Stick with the handwash on nice cars. =D

but when it gets in the teens here, the water freezes right after contact.....as long as most of the dirt is off, its good, i myself never take my car through a carwash (the bmw, that is)....my bros car is jetblack.....

can i use that without a random orbital buffer, instead of the cyclo i think im gunna get this http://www.premiumautocare.com/premiumauto...cab74dual1.html
Yah - you can do it by hand. Try it out by hand first - remember I haven't
seen the scratching you're talking about so I don't know how aggressive
you need.

h4x0r-b0y, :rofl 3Y3 4m t41k1|\|g 4b0u7 7h47. (i'm a little rusty)

3M Perfect-It Swirl Mark Remover for darker colored cars. It's the only
one with swirl mark in it's name. Perfect-It is a full line and I wouldn't
go with the other cuts till after using this. The others a bit more aggressive.
I have the Fine Cut which I use for waterspots on glass!

i remember joe saying perfect it and finesse it work ground with a dual action polisher.....
The Porter is nice... no money here so i'm stuck hand buffing. I don't mind though.
I use Scratch X all the time on my car, it's white, and it works great!!
It has taken out alot of light scratches for me! :D
