hi, i was just wonderin...
about applying wax if a car has been waxed or if you don't know would you need to strip that preexisting layer of wax before you wash, clay, then rewax ??

Waxes actually float on the surface, vs. a sealants which actually bonds.
In laymens terms, take a slice of bread, coat it with mustard. Add more mustard, thats a wax.
Now a sealant, take a slice of bread, add a peice of bologna, then add another piece. Thats a sealant, layerable.

First it is needed to be washed and then you should wax it..But you should be very
careful before using wax..see that they are from same brand..and if they are different
check well before use

for a better result you want to clay it first but its not necesary...what wax are you using? i prefer the smartwax cuz i dont need to buff.
