My lady bought her Z4 a few weeks back and has been told by BMW dealer that the single load CD player won't play home recorded CD's as they are a different thickness. Now, my Vette plays anything and I am thinking hers does too. They say it will hang up in the player. Anyone here had issues like this? I just don't want her to have a CD hung up. Thanks

I've never heard of such a thing in my life. I've played "home made recorded CD's" in my moms 2006 Z4 without any kind of issue or problem. The CD's thickness should be the same anyway regardless of whether it's a CD-R or professionally mastered. I don't know what that dealer was thinking but it sounds like they're are full of it.
