I know this question will get a plephoria of responses, but I would like to hear peoples recommendations for Ultra High Performance/High performance all-season tires.

This is more a personal preferrance than anything, but I need to outfit my new ride with a set of new tires. I would like to maintain the performance of my '96 328i equipped with a sport suspension, while at the same time have a relatively quiet ride. Oh, I don't want to replace them every year either.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry for not responding sooner, but thanks to everyone for the input. This time around I am putting on the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S since I don't want to shock the wife with an additional set of rims and tires for winter this year. Will look to invest in optional set next fall, and possibly change over to Bridgestone Protenza 03's or 05's when the time comes.

Thanks again, this site is awesome!
