so first of all let me start this off by saying that my car isn't the nicest thing on four wheels...ok now we may proceed.

i'm almost on the autobahn it's a B road B38 to be specific and i'm merging into the left lane...i looked over my left should and i see a sexy silver blur go by.

since i just repaired to body work on my 1991 320i (with the tow package to further my embarrassment) i'm feeling a little froggy. So I down shift to third and take off (about 125 kph / 62 mph...i think) i let it get all the way to about 6250rpm and shift to fourth.

About this time he hit some traffic so he's slowed down, i about catch up when i see him brake...almost waiting for me.

As soon as traffic clears we both downshift and punch it.
i'm already going about 155kph (about 95mph) so i'm starting in third at about 5750rpm hnoes, for an old beater that's kinda high...

anyway i let that gear almost red line and shift...i look to my right and oh shit he's behind me!!! i was thinking WTF??

well then as i am about to shift again into fifth again i see this blur on my side...then sadly i see his taillights fading into the day...

sigh...

What size motor is in the 320's, is it the 2.5l or something smaller? My bimmer is old to and has plenty of miles, atleast 240k(the odometer stopped at 225k), and I get on it all the time. Theres no better feeling of having your friends tell you how they love the feel of the torqe<not a spelling bee winner. I tell you these cars never quite, only the bosch parts on them.

i would love to race something like that.

i try to race Maserati's all the time over here...well before when i was driving my wife's car....a 07 Hyundai Accent.

Why would they even race me? I did pass 1 though, i was doing 112mph and he didn't know i was coming....that's the only time. lol.
