Hello, I am new to the forum and to BMWs. I just bought a 2000 328Ci and could use your expertise.
First, I was wondering if BMW makes a CD player with an aux input included. Mine still has a tape deck that is wired for a changer in the back but I would prefer one in the dash. I have searched but only found supplemental aux inputs to be installed separately. I was thinking of throwing in an aftermarket CD player; does that jack up any electronics by doing that?
Also, my driver's side seat has problems moving forward and back at times. Everything else is fine, up/down, lumbar, etc. The dealer said this was a common problem with bimmers and fixed it by gently hitting one of the back cylinders under the seat with a screwdriver. This temporarily fixed it but it goes in and out and I'd like to fix it permanently if it's not too expensive or complicated. Does this sound familiar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
