Hey everybody,
I just picked up my first bimmer 325i and replaced the battery and now the radio is asking for a code. Any idea how to fix it? I called the stealership and i'm waiting on the "call you back" for a week. I need some tunes!
The vin is wbacb4317pfl09875 if this will help. No tunes and a bunch of warning lights are just a little annoying lol :help

Check the glove box to see if someone wrote the code in one of the manuals. Mine was written in the manual for the radio/cd player by a previous owner. Other wise you'll have to take the radio out, get the serial number and take that with proof of ownership to the dealer to get the radio code. It will be a 6 digit number that uses the station pre-set numbers 1-6 to enter the code.

I've seen a card in some cars that had the code on it, these are in the manual book. If not then try to call any dealership and give them the serial number on the back of the unit. I know that when I needed this on my E34 they gave it to me over the phone, but don't be surprised if they do ask you to come in with proof of ownership.
