Also, if I cut off battery negative end, is there any I will miss after it is restored? For example: if you take off the battery of an AUDI, the radio will be locked after the battery is put on again. A radio code will be needed to unlock the radio which could cost $120 if car is taken to a dealer.
Just want to make sure nothing will miss after battery is taken off.
It depends on what you are doing. If it is just replacing light bulbs, there is no need. But for any job, if I were you, I rather pull the fuses out for the tail lights so that I don't mess the radio.

You will be fine. I rarely unhook the battery anymore, I used to think the same that I could damage things, but if you aren't turning the lights on, hitting the brake pedal, etc you aren't applying voltage while you are working on the lights.
