I'm installing a new fan clutch on my 94 318is and I need to know if the bolt that holds it on needs to be turned clock or counter-clock-wise.

Clockwise to loosen........

Using a 32mm open end wrench in clockwise direction........a good shot with a large rubber mallet into the wrench clockwise.....
