I had some chrome 17 inch niche bahns on my 92 325i 4 door, and now i have some 19 inch konig trantrums..

well heres what happened...there is this one spot where i sometimes turn left to go across the median on the highway and when i get on the high way while im still turning i kick in 2nd and let the car get a little sideways..well on the 17's it would give a nice little chirp and my rear end would slide out a little, nothing im not capable of controlling, well today when my new wheels were on, i did the same thing i always do but this time the car shotout towards the side of the road and the whole car got sideways in both lanes and i kept the wheel turned toward the way i was sliding and put my foot on the gas to accelerate out of the slide, i over rotated and went the other way then the other way again so finally i slammed the brakes on and got control! is this normal when you up size your wheels on a rwd car? i am more familiar with a fwd car and am still getting used to having rwd...just thought i would ask! thanks!

could simply be that the old wheels wee better/had better grip than the new wheels. Might not even have anything to do with size.

the car is coming along good, i didnt expect to have the wheels this soon, but i will post some pics after i get the smoke tails to match the rims this weekend...then im gonna get the matrix black housing clear corners to match my black housing head lights...then to the tint, i work at a stereo shop so the tint is no biggie, it has platinum tint now i think i am gonna go back 15% black tint...cant beat it when its free! then i plan to drop it a little, the back is fine but the front needs to come down some...gonna go with maybe some eibach springs...then last for now will be the exhaust! my acs has some holes on the bottom! ill keep you posted!

lol its the 19s... 235s on a freeking bm that had 205s... jesus you have no traction problems. And the wall size stayed about the same so that shouldnt be it. Did you drop your car at all? if so the wheels more than likely have a horrible camber and almost no contact patch. Its probly the added wheel wieght. Those damn ugly "bling bling" wheels wieght so god damn much because they are made with cheap materials and all the cost goes into chroming them. throw out the balance of car... im tired. tired of kids, from beating kids.

hrmmm good 2x4 club

205 to a 235? shouldnt that increase traction. Granted it might have camber problems, but still, traction should improve. This is like the foruth time i had to correct/question you....

the car is not dropped any, so i dont think that had anything to do with it...maybe it was just a oily patch in the road or something!
