hey everyone, im new here. i am planning to buy a used m3 soon 95-98. what should i look for? how many miles do these cars usally last? are they expensive to maintain? really apprieate the feedback...thanks - Professor Oak
People with these types of car generally keep good care of them. If the car has not been driven extrenelly hard you should be able to find a good one. Get a car fax and ask for maintence records. Do the basic's, look at all the fluids, color smell etc. get the car up in the air where you can really look at it. Spend some time with the car. A 15 minute ride will not tell you much. Good Luck . Hope you find something nice.
if i were to buy a 95 m3 with like 125000 to 130000 miles on it would that be good ro bad? i would want to drive it for like 3-5 years and if it was taken car of, and the bmw aspect it should run that long right?
When you find the car you want, take to a reputable independent shop for a thorough inspection. This can be done even if the car you are interested in is hundreds of miles away. Just set up an appointment with a good shop and let them know that the inspection is "for you" and will be paid for "by you." This ensures that the shop is working in your best interest and not that of the seller.
An honest seller should have no problem with taking the car to the shop of your choice in the area.
