well here we go.have gotten everything else working fine,then went to play cd ,bam!,no power,lights nothing.okay fuse ,found it and was blown.replaced but to no avail,still no sound or power.no power to cd ,can't get magazine out,navigation out too.now is there fuse or relay,i'm missing,or do i have dead system.car is 2000 740i sport,109,000miles.i tell you ihave replaced so much on this car ,i can't give up on it.also anyone in the south puget sound(federal way,puyallup,tacoma)who i can confer with.i have new lowering springs and want to install them.not sure about the procedure on doing this ,but i have found some high prices for install.anyway back to radio ,silence is not always golden,i need noise coming out of speakers.any help would be great ,just hope i don't have to replace system,have to watch funds,wife unemployed and boeing watching our overtime.

Check all the connectors in the trunk area around all the units/modules...

I had a similar prob. Check wires under the drivers floor mat. They go from the radio to the trunk. Mine were corroded. Cut out the corroded wires and then spliced in new. You may nnot have this problem. This is an Eastern Car in which we use road salt in the winter. I have a 1997 740iL
