:help Hv 99 M3 cabrio (E36). Just picked up from shop (not dealer) and found a nice sized dent on the passenger side about 3/4 way up near windshield. I believe it happened when mechanic was putting hood shocks on it. Told me part of the hood hinge bracket broke & that this was a common problem with that yr/model 7 that is was caused the dent. (mmmm sounds fishy).
Anyway, need hood & hood hinges. If anyone has these or knows where I can get them plz let me know.

That sounds fishy to me too. I am thinking he is trying to get out of being liable to fix the dent. If it was not there before you dropped it off there, I would have them fix it.
