About to purchase a 1997 328is for my first bmw, any suggestions or comments I should know about?
they recalled the 328's over here in the UK and fitted new blocks, because of a problem with the cylinder linings not being able to cope with the type of fuel over here and coroding........

if you speek to all the dealers who serviced it they can forward info about anything they've done to the car....

ive found that my 328i(euro spec) is a quick as a M3......

thats a great car, not the least bit problematic and has ample power. although if ur gonna pay that much for a car u should make sure to get a manual, an auto takes alot of the cars spirit away. thats a pretty good deal btw B)
