I just got my new ride last week. Got it used from a BMW dealer for $32.5K out the door with only 13K miles on it. Since this is my first BMW, I am very excited about it. One thing I noticed though, is that there aren't too many Alpine White BMWs out there (compare to other colors). What do you all think about its color? I am thinking about tinting it later on.
So far so good in terms of keeping it clean. Since the weather is so cold (avg. this week is 23F) I can't really wash it. But what I do is after a day or two, I will wipe it down with a clean, wet cloth. It's a great way to keep road dirt sticking to the minimum. When the weather gets warmer though, she will get a good clean and wax.
I personally find it very hard to keep a black car clean.
You are right. Black cars are hard to keep clean, but I love black!!
Since you already have the tinting in plan, how about replacing your bulbs or to save a money, you can paint your own bulbs to get rid of the "egg yolk".
Nice car. I'm sure your first experience with BMW will be a good one. Ask around here if you have any questions about it.
