i love maseratis, my dad was going to get a spyder or coupe instead of the 911TT......very rare car, ive only seen two in my lifetime (ive driven one of them), and the second i saw following a M5 down at our beach house
trigg can back me up on this, but quattroporte means four valves (thats what he said) because he called a Ferrari 308GTSi Quattroporte, when its quattrovavle....same thing i guess?Originally posted by GreenDragon@Jun 27 2003, 09:18 AM
Very nice. Kinda reminds me of a Volvo (the profile at least). Quattroporte means four doors in Italian. Could they not think of a better name? The Maserati Four Door? Kinda lame.
i knew quattrovalve was 4 valves, but trigg had said they were the same thing...quattroporte is such a cool word thoughOriginally posted by GreenDragon@Jun 27 2003, 11:41 AM
Porta = door
Quattro = four
Porte = doors
valvola = valve
