I recently brought my car out of storage and it was running like a top last fall but seems to be overheating now. Can anyone tell me what sensor this would be or any other thoughts? After running for 20 mins or so the temp. gauge is buried and the engine is running very hot. 1985 M6 European

Is the coolant low and how's the water pump?

the coolant is full, I dont know about the water pump, is their a way for me to check it? Thanks very much

I'm not big on the DIY sort of thing; I'd have a shop check it and the radiator for clogs.
