Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew what was included as part of the M sport package that was available for the 1997-1999 328is. I have the M package on my car and I want to know what the package included.

The Sports Package included 16" Sport wheels, Front Sport Seats, & Sport Suspension.....Springs, struts & shocks.........

My 97 Mtech also has "M" logos on it (NOT M3 logos). One on trunk lid
and a little one just behind the front wheels. It also has a 3 spoke steering wheel with the triple stripe on it. (I always thought the 3 spoke wheel was a M3 thing, but my 97 M3 has a 4 spoke wheel).

How does the sport suspension compare to the M3's, or is the sport suspension the same?

It's just lower than standard but different from the M3. Sway bar bolts to the control arms and the struts and mounts are different. Mine has the sport suspension, seats, wheels spoiler and M steering wheel. Steering wheel is listed on the spec sheet but the spoiler isn't.

If I wanted to replace what I have with the M3 suspension, due to the different mounts, then it wouldn't be possible with out some fab work, correct?
