Lowering front on 328i convertible

I have a set of 18's on my 1996 328i convertible. They are 7.5's and are wrapped in a 40 series tire. The car looks great but the rear appears lower than the front due to the way BMW's sit. Is it possible for me to only lower the front of the car or will this take away from the ride? I have been looking at the eibach's that lower 1.3" to 1.5". Is this a good choice and will I have any rubbing problems? I can get the fenders rolled if necessary. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated!
