Hi everyone, I'm buying my first car, and found a clean 100k millage 1998 BMW 328i that runs perfectly fine for 4000$ with the exception of two issues:
1) Even when I floor the gas peddle I still don't feel that "HUGE" push that I would think a V6 engine would provide , and it takes a nice 15seconds perhaps to get to 80Mph

2)When the AC is on with the car idle , there's a squeezey sound coming from the engine , it goes if I even touch the gas peddle, but otherwise there's that sound

Am I getting myself in trouble or am I getting a nice deal on the car ?

Can you get a full service record history? FYI there is no V6; the BMW 6 is always an I6

Yes the owner has every service recored he done on the car, and hah If this becomes my car I guess I'll have alot to learn

That squeak is the compressor clutch and will probably have to replace it soon. and about the slowness idk i havent clocked mine but 0-60 for that car should be around 6.5 seconds? so idk
