I recently notice that after idling for 2-5 minutes at a stop, when I put on the gas, the fan noisy is pretty loud and I feel losing power when acceleration. But after 1 or 2 minites later, the fan noisy becomes minimium. The outside temp. is around 33 degree C and the temperature meter is at about 12, no change when idling. Does it mean that my engine is too hot after idling? Any suggestion?

Car is 2001 525 EU 130k miles.

It may well be normal; that fan might be a clutch type engaging as the thermostat needs it.

No, the fan is clutched in when the thermostat reaches a certain temp. But it can't hurt to get it checked along with the rest of the cooling system. Cooling is everything.

If the fan clutch is somewhat old, you may wanna be ready to replace it.
