Kind of an odd question, but I thought i would throw it out anyways.

Theoretically, is it possible to put the real, brand new style xenons in an older car like my 98 318ti? By real xenon, I mean the lights that the brand new 3 series (or any new Benz/Bmw/Porsche/etc...for that fact) uses or like my previous car (99 lexus gs300). I dont mean just bulbs, but the whole xenon platform, if that is what you call it. You can really tell the difference between the real 5000 dollar systems and the systems in which you just put a really expensive bulb in.I would be going for the authentic Xenon look with mostly white light and a hint of blue. What kind of work and cash would be required to transform a car like mine to handle lights like that? I mean the whole deal, including the automatic leveling at night and automatic sensors (turn lights on and off at night depending on darkness)?

2nd Question
My previous car (the Gs300) had these yellow foglights that really look tite at night. Is there any place where I can buy a yellow bulb like that for my current 318? Would it be as simple as just replacing the bulb or would I have to change the whole foglight assembly?

Thanks for everything guys

yes, you can. i ordered a kit from proxenon just last week. Autoleveling is part of the headlight function and as far as I know unvailable on the e36, but you can have xenons on your factory setup or with euro ellipsoids. $400 minium for HID kit, 250-500 for ellipsoids.
