Conforti or AFE intake, sprint booster, and maybe a cat-back exhaust. For a little more you could get a Dinan chip tune.
+1^ The AFE $25.00 off & free shipping......:)

The software Conforti.....that is that!

& the cat back's are pretty pricey, $1,000 & up Borla etc. but I found this Supersprint @ a decent price......

Thanks for the feedback & advices. I don’t want to exceed the 1000 because I need to upgrade the handling & do few repairs. I will go for the maximum with this amount & I may not change the Exhausts at this stage.

One of my main concerns now is the driver & passenger seats which are worn & noisy. The dealer has shocked me yesterday when they told that they don’t sell the leather skin for the seats & therefore I need to do my own search

If $1,000 is your max budget, I would stick to the intake and chip tune. You might even be able to sneak an under drive pulley system in there as well and those do make a pretty big difference with how the engine revs up.

Onto the seats part, you could always go junk yard searching and see what you can find. Not too long ago I found a set of sport seats (color matching to my interior) out of a 2002 530i sport for $400. Unfortunately, I was stupid and didn't pick them up when I had the chance.

Oh, and I forgot. Turner Motorsport is a BMW specialist located in Massachusetts. They have a wide array of BMW stuff that they sell and build and engineer themselves. They also have international shipping as well which is a benefit for you.

I believe Johnny may have given you this link as he is a customer of theirs (as well as me) but I'm too lazy to check links.

Haha, I've been clicking on links all day because I had nothing better to do. Thanks for the rep as well, I happened to click on the user control panel to check something and I saw it there.

You've been even more active than me and you always have good advice so I'm giving you the rep right back. :D

Items available in the tuner motorsport are suitable only for US vehicles, as per the FAQ. Only Sprint Booster can be found in Dubai that suites Gulf Spec. cars.

Can the Sprint booster and intake cause any damages to the vehicle systems?

Argh, I forgot about the fact your car is not US spec. Boy do I feel dumb right about now.

No, sprint booster just changes the dynamic of the drive by wire system and it allows the throttle to fully open quicker. It's a simple install and for the price it will definitely allow your car to move quicker. I'm hard pressed to find a way in which it can possibly damage the engine/car in any way.

Intake won't do damage to the vehicle depending on it's setup. I've seen people who put the air filter in their wheel wells and they definitely run the risk of sucking up water into their engine. You shouldn't have that problem in the dry climate but I don't recommend having the air filter for the intake leaving the engine bay anyway. If you can find a system with some sort of heat shield that's also an added bonus See if you can find any Gruppe M replicas.

One member on Mercedes Benz forum has claimed the following:

"Performance Filters" DO NOT improve power, nada, zilch and simply introduce more dirt and contaminate your engines induction sensors.

Spark Plugs DO NOT improve power! Spark is a spark is a spark. Severely aged plugs "may" reduce the overall voltage at the tip and the resultant heat generated at the arc, however this is easily rectified by installing new OEM quality plugs. If you hear somebody make claims that their plugs increase power think "Snake oil" and walk away NOW!

Any comments on the above?
