Does anyone know of a good site with lots of info on the ti's? Specifically, I need to know how to remove the rear the rear trim pieces to install new speakers.

I need to know how to remove the rear speaker panel covers on the rear shelf. Unlike ours, the ti has a solid plastic thing over them much like the front speakers. I need to know how to remove it or if the best way to get to the speakers is to pull the carpet back and remove the thing they sit in.

I dont know if they can be removed from the trunk or not. His car is in the shop right now, so I can't go outside and look. The ti's have a rear shelf that is connected to the trunk lid and it raises and lowers with it. On either side are plastic trim pieces that dont move, but the shelf appears to be hinged through them. They also conceal the seatbelt and the speakers. I need to find out either how to remove these pieces or find out if it is possible to remove the speaker box from below like in a regular e36.

Damn ti's.

It doesnt look like he'll be getting them while Im in town anymore anyway, so I guess it doesnt really matter. For what its worth, I brought my Haynes manual with me, but its not as comprehensive. I do get to show him how to use a galze and polish up his ride though. Its so neglected and scarred Im thinking I might need to get some T-cut before its all said and done. I hit it yesterday with 3m Imperial and it barely did shit. Needs a clay too. Ahh, so much to do, so little time.
