I have a 1995 318i. Only non stock is a K&N air filter.

I'm looking at Bilstien Touring shocks. They are 15% more pressure over stock and are for the stock or non-lowered springs only. Since I have to drive this car for 4 and 1/2 hour stretches I really don't want to do coil overs or even lowering springs. Also looking at sway bars and/or a brace. Depending on how much I have left. Any good recomendations on sway bars to keep the balance of the car?

Also for brakes looking at Pagid brake pads front and rear.

Then maybe in the summer the brace or sway bar if one is lacking. Then possibly a head/header. Do any non custum heads/headers exist for my car? I see several for the 325i but havn't ran across any yet for a 318i. Or is there a better hp/torque gain for the money?

With the shocks, brace, and sway bars it will make a difference in hadling but shouldn't be too much stiffer than it is now. Also you may not know this put Pagid makes BMW factory brake pads. At my work we try to use only Pagid pads cause most of the other aftermarket ones we've tried squeek. If you want a nice brake upgrade but at a reasonable price put on some Zimmerman cross drilled rotors.

really? Pagid makes the factory brake pads? I thought some company that started with J were the ones that made the OEM pads. The Pagid pads that I was looking at from Bavarian Autosport sounded like they were better than stock... As for rotors maybe next time I have to change my pads... they're a little expensive, especially because I already have to change my brake pads.
