Well I was going to get my new tires installed this morning when backing out of the driveway my factory radio went out! Thinking nothing of it, I reached to turn in on but nothing, no illumination or anything, so I figured it was the fuse and would get to it later. Once I picked my car up I went to turn on the AC which was illuminated but put out hot air, not only that, my entire dash/cluster has no illumination. The speed odimeter works, the horn blows and all lights outside even turn signals work but nothing on the inside reflecting it. I looked at all the fuses inside the glove box and they all look good. Am I missing something here? I called the BMW dealer but they want to charge just to look at it instead of some helpful advice over the phone. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it? 2000 BMW 528i

Check all of your fuses first off. If they are all fine try jiggling the key in the ignition with the engine on. Sometimes the ignition starts to fail and current cant pass through it which means that certain parst of the car don't get electricity.
