Ok guys here is the story I tried to get his price down from $150.00 shipped but he actually rose his price to $158.00 shipped. He said he forgot to include the $8.00 insurance cost to the total. I then asked him if insurance is optional and he replied:
"$8.00 for insurance is a must, because the package is shipped directly from the source, and I don't want to take the possible the package may be damged by rough handling, although it rarely happened. I only use the best shipping method possible, EMS, that is a 4 Business days, Fully Insured Service. You can check on my eBay records, and should find out that I have sold all my listing of this item for $159.95 + $25+ Insurance."
So I'm assuming that these tail lights are comming from Tiawan, and thus the expensive shipping cost. So according to him we are getting a $34.94 discount. And I checked on procarparts.com and the grand total including tax and shipping for these lights was $176.86. So by going through the Group Buy we are saving $18.86. So we are still getting a good deal.
As for the quality, it is GOOD and does not through off the OBC. I recived an e-mail response from those that have perviously purchased the tail lights from him and here is what they said:
"The lights looks really good ( Quality: Scale from 1-10. 10 being the highest quality would be 9), I haven't install it as yet, I plan to install it in May with the other lights I bought. The ebayer Kensu903 is a good ebayer."
"The tail lights he sells is the same type sold from Pro Car Parts.com. Over all I like them. It looks nice, it hasn't leaked, and fit well. Changing bulbs is hard though since the access holes are rather small. I have to remove the tail light from the car to change a bulb. Other than that everything works and it hasn't given me any trouble so I'm happy with them."
and finally this is what the seller said about his product, "First of all, I recommanded you to read my eBay feedback records first. You should read what people say about me, my product and service, which I am very proud of.
Based on my understanding, ProCars have not receive their sea freight shipment yet. Trust me, the quality is great for the money"
To those people who wanted to know if he had the crystal clear tail lights for the 4 door, Yes he does have them.
Ok, so what I need to know now is how many people are in this group buy and what fitting do you need, 2 door or 4 door. Once I know this we can start sending our payments and get our lights.
