Ok So I am tired of driving my mirage everyday to/from work. The ride is not comfy and it doesn't have power windows locks. I also seem to have a problem with braking to much stuff on it. It just has to much power to drive everyday. Mostly axles, and brakes. However I have been looking for a nice daily that had potential if I ever wanted to do anything to it. I have been looking ath the little sporty 318ti, small rwd car sounds kinda cool. However most of these cars are old with high mileage. How well do they last? Is there anything i can do to them if I ever feel the need.

I am not sure if I understood you correctly, did you say you want something with less power then your mirage, if so then a 318ti would be great. As long as the car is properly maintained it will last 300k or more miles. I wouldn't even hesitate on a car with 90k miles if the price was right and it has been taken care of.

ya the mirage brakes to much stuff. the mirage is a blast to drive, but it isn't super comfy and defiantly doesn't have any pimp factor or bells or whistles.

So can I do anything to a 318ti?

what can you do with a 318, well depends on how much money you have

Cold Air Intake
Exhaust
Chip
Headers
Cams
Pullies
Turbo
Super Charger
M3 engine
etc etc etc

i think we call it the Colt, i may be wrong....... post a picture. a friend of mine had one with all blitz tunning untill he rolled it into a tree......
