FYI,
Hey guys I ordered the Meguiars Clay kit on the website the other day, and the list price was $19.00. So I went ahead and ordered it, and with shipping everything came out to $26 bucks. On the flip side I was in Target the other day, and it was on the shelf for $17 bucks.

I sent an e-mail out to Meguiars explaining what happened, and they basically said SORRY BUDDY CAN'T HELP YOU. Sooooo with that being said F Meguiars, and i will be using some other brand in the future. I PROTEST their A**....

The Nine bucks would't make or break me, it's the principle. They could have offered me anything JUST TO MAKE ME HAPPY, because as the saying goes the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!! Ya dig...

biggest thing with meguiars is that they have an excellent product, that even i use...but thier customer service blows donkey dick.

I use Meguiars stuff as well, clay bar included. Hate to say it (crappy customer service and what should be expected shipping expenses aside)...why didn't you just buy some off the shelf to begin with?

That's what I'm wondering as well. You can find the clay bar kits at Autozone as well. I've never bought a car care product online for this reason. Paying shipping doesn't make any sense to me at that point.

Besides, I think the Mothers Clay Bar kit is superior to Meguiars. You get more clay with the kit and I found that the microfiber towel is also of much better quality as well.

+1 on the mothers clay. It works much better and has a nice cinnamon scent to it as well. Meguiar's is overrated. I will take any mother's product over Meg's because it works better.

I've never used the clay bar before. So I went with what was on sale.
I have both Meguiars & Mothers products on my shelf. Like them both.
But I agree, Mothers has a better smell.
