I have a 89 325i that isn't getting fuel. Everything cranks/fires just fine. I've had some work done to it w/ no results(replaced filter, fuel line, etc); the next step is to replace the fuel pump. Does anyone know how difficult this is? Is there any other insight that anyone has for this situation?

Out side the fuse box are three relays.

they can be moved to different locations.

The only way to know is to check the wire colors.

The five prong is the main relay

On the fuel pump relay, short from pin #30 to #87.

This should cause the pump to run if fuse #11 is good.

On my 84' replacing fuse # 12 fixed a similar problem. According to schematic for my car it could have been fuse # 9 or #12.
K.C. you are amazing. I just added to file another of your posts.Good work.

KC or anyone- Does anyone happen to have a list of what the fuses are? Also, I have found 2 different styles of fuel pump; does the 89' 325i need just the pump or the pump, screen, etc?
