On my 95 M3, the gauge on my adjustable FPR reads 56psi at idle, and jumps to 64psi with a little rev. After turning the car off it drops to 42 psi within a minute, and after 5 minutes or so it's back to 0.

Is this normal? Bentley says my operating pressure should be in the 40s. Also, the gauge shows nothing when my ignition is on, but car is off. Should the fuel pump be pressurizing at this point?

Hmm just clicked key to position 2 and fuel pump turned on and pressure gauge shows 42 psi... then slowly but steadily decreases while key still in position 2.
