Hi guys,

recently had an oil service - the mechanic noticed the EGR valve pipe was not connected... so connected this back on..

all was fine.. until i noticed that the engine was still really hot.. like an hour after the car had been parked up.. also the collant tub was the same.. is this normal??

surely i would have thought everything would have cooled down.. as nothing is in use?

i then checked like 3/4 hours later and engine was still luke warm..

any ideas? have i got something to be worried about... or am i worrying for no reason??

My V8 stays hot for around 5 hrs so I wouldnt worry, its normal on BMW's
