Having worked closely with the BRSCC over the past few years developing our products and being the official Technical Braking Partner to the BRSCC Fiesta championship ST240 class with our competition Brake kit and RP compound pads, EBC Brakes Racing will now also be the official Technical Braking Partner to the all-new SuperCup series.

The BRSCC reached out after the success and support that they received with the Fiesta ST240 class and tasked us to develop a setup specially for their new SuperCup series. We created a bespoke 330mm Competition Brake Kit that comes with high performance multi-piston Calipers with stainless steel pistons and a hard anodised finish, fully-floating 2-piece rotors as standard, braided lines and we decided to pair this with our all new Sintered Race compound SR-11 after extensive testing was carried out throughout the year.

A fully sintered pad blend for fastest asphalt race and endurance applications. SR-11 was independently tested in a professional USA laboratory at 200-900Psi to LMGTE/GTLM race parameters. The new EBC SR-series range is a low-noise, long-life sintered pad blend that is designed to offer the LOWEST pad-wear-cost-per-lap in race driving.

• High 0.55mu stable friction

• Extremely fast bed in, works from cold

• Heat range: 0° to 900°C/1650°F

• Maximum pad wear life

• Minimal disc wear

• Made in the USA

After over a year of technical development, the British Racing & Sports Car Club is delighted to announce the launch of their new for 2022 BMW 1 Series SuperCup.

Based on the popular BMW F20/F21 1.6 Turbo model, the new car and race series will appeal to drivers attracted to racing in a tightly controlled single make series based on a modern and sophisticated rear wheel drive BMW.

“As can be seen from the list of parts at this link, most have been developed by working closely with a carefully selected group of technical partners through 2021. Although various alternative “off the shelf” parts would have been available to the technical development team, careful testing and evaluation dictated that correctly developed bespoke parts were key to ensuring the reliability and durability that the car will require, as well as guaranteeing equal performance of the cars on track.” – BRSCC

For the 2022 race season, the BMW 1 Series SuperCup will race in its own class in the BRSCC ClubSport Trophy, before being handed its own stand-alone one model grid in 2023.

EBC Brakes Racing are proud to be a part of this new series and are looking forward to the continued relationship with the BRSCC.
