wash car with regular car wash that costs a few bucks and lasts a decade. wax with meguiars wax, 5 bucks. lasts like 10 waxings. my paint looks pretty damn good after waxing, even though it's 14 years old. i don't know what peole on here talk about like "pre-polishing with a bullshit compound" then "buff compound" then "polish" then "pre treat wax" then "pre wax" then "wax" then "cyclo buffer" does it really make that much of a difference? i get enough of a tennis elbow waxing my car, which may take 20 min? i don't know, i just scrub hard and get all the wax off, makes it shiny and smooth. like my tushy

Yes it does...

The Cyclo buffer uses a whole lot less wax as compared to hand application, on top of that you'll never ever get the same results from hand applied waxing that you will from a shitload of polishes, waxes, compounds etc. from a cyclo buffer. If there is/was any type of small particles in your paint you're just gonna add more swirl marks. Ask any professional detailer... Surface prepation is key in making your car bling bling...

I am in full agreement with you Bro. If it was as easy as wash and wax, then why don't all our Bimmer's look like the ones you see at car shows?!! Hmmmmmm? <_<

I started with Meguiars.. it was ok(every 3 months)
I went to Zymol.. it was better that meguiars and took the same amount of time(every 3 months)
I then went to Blackfire... two-step and still easy.. twice the durability, twice the shine/depth and hardly any extra work.

FWIW - Meguiars used regularly will still make a car look good but you just have to make
sure that you are actually keeping the car waxed. The durability is in the toilet for carnuba's.
Both sides take very little work.
