Hey guys,
My '03 525i is approaching 70k miles, and the brakes are feeling a bit light. I'm sure the pads are close to being gone, but what should I look for in the rotors? What drives the decision to get new ones versus keeping the old ones in terms of vehicle safety? What am I looking for in particular in the condition of the rotors to say, "these are okay" versus "these are scrap"?
This isn't an urgent issue, but I can imagine when I take my car in to the "stealer" for an oil change, I'm going to get some sort of run-around.
