Hello all. I am new to this forum so let me introduce myself. My Name is Tony. I live in Massahusetts. I am a BMW enthusiast. My first car was a 1987 BMW 528e. My current car is a 1995 BMW 318is with a few mods.

I'm bored with the performance of my 318. I already have an intake and exhaust. I would put a supercharger or turbo kit in it but I dont think it is worth it. I will only get the performance of a 325 or maybe a 328. You can only get so much out of a 4 banger. I already have $7,000 into the car and any type of forced induction can cost more than 3 grand for a decient one. So, instead of doing that, I am going to sell the 318 and get a e36 M3. I am looking to spend under $15,000 on an M3. I am hoping that I can get a 5 speed coupe with under 150k miles. Is it possible to get one for that kind of money?

Also, something I am noticing is that Kelly Blue Book values are low. I usually see bimmers sell for more than what kbb says they are worth. Is it because kbb values are wrong or are people just selling BMWs for more than they are worth?

Help would be greatly appreciated. :help

Thanks,
Tony

internet kbb values are lagged. you have to call the loan dept of your credit union or bank and ask for the high/low values for a particular vehicle.

also check edmunds.com
that site seems to reflect more up-to-date market values.

Hey!
I'm new here to, so, I guess welcome to both you and me. :cheers
Glad you want an M3. I personally favor the M3 over any other BMW's.
(the m5 is just alittle big for me, no offense.) So, I checked alittle
in your area. I came alittle out of borders, but, you could see if this'll do...
